Where is Tristan Huang?

Vancouver police say that Tristan, who is a 16-year-old boy who’s been missing since September 14th, 2024, may have fallen or jumped from the Interstate 205 Bridge into the Columbia River.

Detectives determined that Tristan took an Uber toward the Glenn Jackson Bridge at about 4:20 a.m. on the Saturday morning that he went missing. Although he was seen on camera walking up the trail toward the pedestrian path across the bridge, the footage does not show him crossing the bridge, according to the Vancouver Police Department.

Detectives are asking anyone who may have seen Tristan at the bridge to contact the police department. Anyone who frequents the Columbia River area downstream from the I-205 Bridge should keep an eye out and report any possible sightings to 911.

Police were called to Tristan’s residence Sept. 14, 2024, for the missing and endangered teen. He was seen on foot about 4 miles from his home, in the 2300 block of 112th Court, early that morning, police said.

Tristan is an Asian male, about 6 feet tall and about 153 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes and glasses. Police do not know what clothing he was last wearing.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts or who has seen him since Sept. 14 is asked to contact Detective Jason Nicholson at Jason.Nicholson@cityofvancouver.us.
